Winslows Improve to 4-0

Chris JohnsonAfter four weeks of action, the Carl Winslows are 4-0, boasting the best record in the league. They completed this by crushing the Mary-Kates by more than thirty points this past weekend. With Bo Jackson on the schedule for Week 5, many wonder if the Winslows can continue this unbelievable streak.

"I believe in this team right now," Jeff L. Horner, the team's owner stated. "It's only going to get harder now, though, as the bye weeks complicate rosters."

Right behind the Carl Winslow, the Jax Attack and Ashleys boast 2-2 records, but both seem confident as the season advances. "Now is the time that we see who the real stars are," Jacob Hampton, Jax Attack owner said. "I always have my eye out for the next great player, and it is that player that will propel this team to victory."

John Plummer, the owner of the Ashleys is also not concerned. "They are having a good run right now," he said of the Carl Winslows, "but, like all good things, it will have to end. I feel that our team will be there when it does."

Jax Attack takes on the Mary-Kates next, and the Ashley's face the abysmal Blisters, who are 0-4 on the year.

Striker Shakes It Up

Chris JohnsonStriker obviously isn’t happy with his team. The season hasn’t even started yet, and he’s already dropped both of his quarterbacks in exchange for others. He let go of Alex Smith and Ben Roethlisberger and picked up Jay Cutler and Donovan McNabb.

“I wasn’t even there for the draft,” Striker said. “Whoever drafted for me really screwed me up. I mean a kicker in the first round? You’ve got to be kidding.” Striker went on to say that although Nate Kaeding is rated as the number one kicker, he really isn’t. Striker believes Garrett Hartley to be the best.

Sportswriters now portend a massive overhaul of Striker’s lineup. What could this mean for the rest of the league? Jacob Hampton isn’t worried. “I clearly have the best players,” he said. “Let him pick who he wants. It won’t make a difference.”

Draft Day Drama

Chris JohnsonHampton’s Jax Attack took the Tennessee Titan’s star RB Chris Johnson in the first pick of the 2010 Fantasy Football Draft. Johnson was the consensus number one pick by fantasy football publications throughout the country. “It was a no-brainer,” Hampton said of his pick. “Of course I was going to take Johnson.”

Jeff L. Horner’s Carl Winslows took Ravens RB Ray Rice as the second pick. Rice had a coming-out year with Baltimore last year, and Horner’s hoping that he will put up big numbers this year.

With the third pick, John Plummer’s Ashleys took Minnesota RB Adrian Peterson. He was quoted as saying that he’d have preferred to get Ray Rice, as he believed that Horner would select Peterson as the second pick.
